Or, why should you read my blog?
Because it's smart.
Yes, I'm opinionated. I'm also the daughter of a former librarian who taught me the importance of research. The truth is important to me, and I try to form an opinion only AFTER I know the facts. You'll undoubtedly disagree with me a time or two and that's okay. What matters is that we're coming to the discussion with a grounding in facts and reality, not a half-assed, cockamamied spouting of rhetoric.
Because it's eclectic.
I'm forty-four years old and the mother of three boys. Young men, really. I've had my hand in many a thing these past four decades and I like to think I've learned a thing or two along the way. You'll be reading about a wide range of topics, from politics to sports to family. Some things you'll know more than I do, and I'm counting on learning from you as well.
Because it's eccentric.
Or quirky. Maybe quirky sounds better. Possibly, on occasion, just downright weird.
But always, I hope, interesting.
