Love: Friendship

Love: Friendship

The love in friendship is almost like adopting a sister or brother outside the family with which you can spend time.  There are activity friends with which you can hang out.  And there are soul mate friends with which you can share your trials and tribulations.  Friendship is about being close, without the static of romance or family, and then leaving with a feeling of affection for the other person.  Friendship love is a valued plateau that few want to compromise for romance or argument.  It requires commitment, trust and affection.

Friendship is valued from many directions.  There is the kind word from a stranger that brings optimism.  There is affection from a cat or dog that means you are loved.  There is the sincerity of a co-worker who is trying to make ends meet for her family.  There is the plushness of a spring day, that says life was always meant to be this warm and inviting.  There are also answered prayers that let you know that there are forces greater that are benevolent.
