Geraldo Rivera: Kiddo, you were right

Ernest T. Bass, the town Hillbilly on the "Andy Griffith Show," shared a tidbit about possums  in Miss Krump's fifth grade classroom during an episode when he tried to get an  grade school diploma.  But as fate would have it, he was also talking about life and many liberals as well.

"I'll set you straight in a jiffy about how to go about finding a possum under a hole," said Ernest T. interrupting Miss Krump's math lesson yet again.  "You light a fire or you jab at him with a long pointy stick.  Light a fire, smoke him out.  Jab at him with that stick good."

Ernest T. would have done well on his own political radio show because when you replace the word "possum" with the word "the average liberal" and get to the heart of the matter.

Unable to rest on their laurels, the masses have been at it again.  Though they've shifted their aim, like a missile, from George Zimmerman to Geraldo Rivera who said that Trayvon Martin's dress may have had something to do with Zimmerman's targeting him.  (Before anyone reaches for the keyboard to type in words like "stupid," "uninformed" or "naive," then hitting send, note that I said "may," not "definitely" or "absolutely for sure.")

It's unfortunate that Geraldo ended up apologizing, though he is the one with the sponsors and advertisers to somewhat please, a wife to support and mortgages to pay.

That's because the general reality along the motherboard is that we are all judged by what we look like, who our freinds are and how we dress.  That may be why job applicants are urged to wear business suits when interviewing for a 9-5 position in the business world.  I wouldn't hire someone with sagging pants, tattoos and a hoodie unless I was casting a music video or had an opening for a longshoreman's job.  Otherwise, it would be x-nay to that one for me.

Rules for Life:  You are what you eat.  You are what you do, who you hang with and you are how you dress.  Period, the end.

Thank you, amen and over and out.

This really is no different than the morons who blame victims of rape for dressing "slutty". A sixteen your old child was shot and killed, that's the end of it. You must be living on another planet lady.

  • In reply to Charlie Hoover:

You have a funny way of connecting the dots. You know that?

  • Great point Hoover....Tzippo, here you go again with the BS. So if someone disobeys, or doesn't live by your so called RULES OF LIFE, the punishment is DEATH.... LMAO, you are a joke!

  • I'm saying that you have to be careful about how you dress and the messages you send. Do you live in a parallel universe?
