This 12 pound 6 ounce walleye captured at Tampier Lake was used in the spawning project and later released back in the lake. For many years I have helped the Cook County Forest Preserve District Fisheries with their walleye spawning project. The brood lake is Tampier Lake near Orland Park (131st St. & Wolf Rd.)....
