Radio Show does remote broadcast with guest Larry Nixon

Bedford Sales on west Route 6 in Morris, Illinois had their annual open house this weekend.  Bedford Sales is Illinois largest Ranger boat dealership.

At the open house Jim DaRosa and I were hired to do a live broadcase of the Fishing and Outdoor Radio Show for two hours this morning.   One of our guests was Tournament Bass Fishing pioneer Larry Nixon.

To give you a little history on Larry, he's had 25 Bassmaster Classic appearances, he has won one classic but was in the money for 176 Bassmasters tournaments.   Of them, 14 were1st place wins, 12 second places, 8 third place wins and was in the top 10 for 82 tournaments.  In the Bassmaster's tournaments he's brought to the weigh-ins over  7,500 pounds of fish.  Over the years that's netted him over $1.6 million in B.A.S.S. tournaments.  Larry is now fishing the FLW tour and is ranked #10 in the field.

Another of our other guests during today's show includes Bryan Partak, Fishing Tackle Department Manager at Bedford Sales.  Bryan also fishes on the FLW tournament circuit.

We also had Darrel Haefner of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary to talk Boat Saftey, Jason Parsons to talk about Ranger Boats, Steve Welsh to talk on Lowarnce Electronics, Terry Brown from Wired2Fish.com to talk about his website and Dave Schultz to talk on the Happy Hookers Bass Club.

We had a great time today and our radio show Pro Staffer Roger Wright snapped a few photos to share.

DaRosa and I enjoy sharing our experiences and bringing our listeners some of the top anglers and interesting people in the industry.   Check out the photos.
