A few fun hours on the water

Having a great time at the Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers annual conference in Fond du Lac Wisconsin.

This afternoon, we had a great Breakout Day where many of our corporate members brought out their new products to show all of our attending outdoor writers.  That's always fun.   But Jim DaRosa of the Fishing and Outdoor Radio Show and I got to spend a few fun hours on the water with Pat Kalmerton of Wolf Pack Adventures out of Sheboygan and Ben Royce from the Plano and Frabill companies.

The winds were mild on Lake Winnebago and quite a few perch anglers were on the water.  In our few hours before the AGLOW Breakout, we caught perch, striper, bluegill, pumpkinseed and drum.

It was a simple straight line presentation with a small piece of night crawler on an octapus hook.

Ben from Plano/Frabill got the most fish but as you can see in the photo of me, a striper, and three dollar bills, I got the first fish.
