High School Bass Angler catches Muskie Award

Here's some good news about an Oak Lawn Community High School freshman, Jonathan Metelski who caught the largest muskie entered into the 2011 Illinois Muskie Tournament Trail Youth Honor Roll.

Jonathan caught the 46-inch monster on Lake of the Woods in Canada.  For this accomplishment, Jonathan was honored at the Chicago Muskie Show by the Illinois Musky Tournament Trail and awarded a huge trophy commemorating his catch.

Every young angler who entered received a plaque with the engraved details of their catch and the kids who attended the show also received a muskie fishing rod and reel.

Details for the 2012 program can be found online at www.ILMuskie.com.
