On Thursday evening, Jim DaRosa, Ray Ludkevicz and I did a remote broadcast of our Fishing and Outdoor Radio Show from the Chicago Boat, RV and Sports Show at McCormick Place. We had a blast.
It was a fun time with great guests.
Joining us was the Show Manager and representatives from the House of Camping in Bridgeview, Heritage Harbor in Ottawa and Bedford Sales in Morris.
Before our broadcast, we were able to walk the show. I was amazed with all there was to see beyond hundreds of new boats of all sizes and campers and RVs.
They offered Do-It-Yourself seminars, had a huge pool where you can try scuba diving, and Paddlefest where you can learn everything you'd like to know about kayaking. I have two Hobies and love em. I was anxious to see the demos on the water. They also had a second pool where Rail Jam demos were performed.
What's a bit different for this year's Boat Show is that it will be open on Monday, MLKing's Birthday. Many people will be off on this holiday and can enjoy the show.
For more info on the show visit their site at www.ChicagoBoatShow.com. I'm thinking of going back on Sunday.
