Smallies and muskie in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin
My daughter Lisa and I spent the week in Boulder Junction staying at the Wildcat Lodge.
What a great place to spend a fall vacation. The accomodations are great at Wildcat Lodge and being on a 3 lake chain of Class A muskie waters can't be beat.
Wildcat has about a dozen housekeeping cabins that are clean, warm, well decorated and only steps away from the boat docks.
Fishing was good... very good. Lisa got her first muskie in the boat on this trip with the help of Erv Keller of Erv Keller's Guide Service. Check out his site, just CLICK HERE. I have a couple of photos of it in the gallery. In addition, today we did extremely well on the smallmouth bass.
Check out the photos and enjoy. If you're looking to enjoy a trip to the northwoods, give the Wildcat Lodge a call at 715-663-4952 or visit their website at www.WildcatLodge.com.
For more information on the Boulder Junction area, visit their site at www.BoulderJct.org or give them a call at 800-GO-MUSKY.
Read more about the the trip that Lisa and I took this Saturday in the Chicago Tribune.
