Chicago Greek Media hosts party for the Greek Film Festival

The all-new Greek Film Fest Chicago on August 11th was feted at a kickoff party held at "The Vertigo Sky Lounge" inside Dana Hotel with more than 300 in attendance. The event was organized by Chicago's Greek Media Club, which co-hosted with Euro Circle Chicago, the Hellenic Professional Society of Illinois, and  The film fest runs the last weekend of September at various Chicagoland venues. Celebrity Attendees:

Ariana Savalas is the youngest daughter of the late Telly Savalas, who  was the star of the network TV police drama "Kojak" and had major parts in such epic films as James Bond's "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", "The Dirty Dozen" and "The Greatest Story Ever Told" (played Pontius Pilot). She's a singer/songwriter who just released her first album, "Kingdom." She's also an actress who's been in some indie films and had a guest role on TV's "Criminal Minds" in 2010.

Patricia Kara is an actress/TV host and celebrity fitness spokesmodel whose credits include TV's "Extra!", "E Entertainment's Wild-On", "TV Guide Channel," and more. She happened to be visiting the weekend of the Vertigo event for an appearance at the Comic Con Convention at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont as one of the attractions.

Also our dear friend Andrea Dres, was  just promoted to associate producer at Harpo Studios.
