Chicagoans Visit Aspen for Fashion Week

The third annual Aspen Fashion Week in collaboration with the Aspen Institute dazzled the runway at the base of the mountains with a racing and technically advanced ski wear line filled with creative fashionable charm.  The international acclaimed Paris fashion designer, Jean Charles de Castelbajac was on hand to speak about his career in fashion. He has designed clothes for some of the hottest women in the show biz industry including  Lady Gaga, Beyonce' and Madonna only to name a few..

Lauren Bush, Creative Director and co-founder of FEED was also present. Lauren became Honorary Spokeswoman for the UN World Food Program. Lauren was a fashion model for many years and appeared on such covers as Vogue, Glamour, and Town and Country.
Kitty Boone was also on hand, and asked some very interesting questions of the famous designer.  Kitty is the Director of the Ideas Festival in Aspen where some of the world's most inspired and provocative thinkers, writers, artists, and business leaders gather to discuss their ideas and  thoughts.
Everyone sits outside surrounded by the beautiful mountains covered in snow waiting for dusk to fall and watch the best and hottest winter resort  show in Aspen. A loud blast of  music begins  and these awesome creatures appear on the runway to showcase the colorful line of Jean Charles.
Also ICTV was on hand to help promote. ICTV Broadcast is a video media broadcasting tool which helps clients tap into social media trends. ICTV captures location based, brand-centric, video recordings from events and venues which can then be broadcasted live to other websites, emailed to friends and family and shared through social networks including Facebook and Twitter.  This was a great added feature to the show.
Scott Goodrich is also involved with ICTV and is always seen at the best hot spots in the world. It was great fun to see so many Chicagoans turn out for Fashion Week in Aspen. The adult playground, where they never grow up.
