Hoosier by birth but south sider by choice, the I moved to Woodlawn in the fall of 2001. Frustrated with my real estate developer and non-existent consumer protections for condominium owners, I started writing about my ordeals at the original I Hate My Developer blog in 2005.
Since then I've been writing about my developer, condo living, south side living, the neighbors, life and anything else that catches my fancy.
You'll also detect an intense dislike for squirrels that dig up my container garden.
"I Hate My Developer" was featured in the February 2008 edition of Chicago Magazine as one of the 171 Best Chicago Websites. Ranked #60 in "The New News" report commissioned by the Chicago Community Trust and produced by the Community Media Workshop.
In 2012 I made my on air debut at HuffPostLive. The good folks there have asked me to weigh in on a number of topics in their roundtable internet format with some very smart people. Trust me I was flattered.
Who knows what the future holds but I very much look forward to finding out.
