Hoosier by birth but south sider by choice, the Woodlawn Wonder moved to her current address in the fall of 2001. Frustrated with her real estate developer and non-existent consumer protections for condominium owners, she started writing about her ordeals at her original blog in 2005.
Since then she's been writing about her developer, condo living, the neighbors, her life and everything else in between.

Additionally, IHMD is listed on the University of Chicago's community blog roll and is also a 2010 finalist for a "Bloggie" in the "Best Kept Secret Weblog" category.
