Wolves lose Cundari, gain a Chelios in blue-line shuffle
Mark Cundari was a bit frustrated after he and his Wolves teammates couldn’t solve Milwaukee goalie Scott Darling on Tuesday night. That frustration was all but forgotten in the moments following the game when he learned the Calgary Flames recalled him to the NHL. “Hopefully I can get in the lineup and make a difference... Despite success, Wolves still seeking the right mix
The victories keep coming for the Chicago Wolves. And so do the roster moves. On Wednesday, the Wolves acquired defenseman Joe Corvo on loan from the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, a transaction that came only four days after the Wolves received two players for trading Mark Mancari to the Florida Panthers. “It happens a lot, but... NOTEBOOK: Wolves' McCudden realizes Olympic dream
His duties won’t be the same, but that doesn’t matter to Wolves skating and skills coach Kenny McCudden. WOLVES NOTES: Shields' 1st AHL goal offers peek into Anderson's system
It only took 111 games for David Shields to finally score his first AHL goal. Shields, a Chicago Wolves defenseman, ripped a wrist shot crossbar down behind San Antonio goalie Michael Houser in the Wolves’ 4-2 loss Sunday at Allstate Arena. “Would have felt a lot better if we’d won the game,” said Shields, who...
