You heard that right! Two Brothers Brewing is diving head first into the specialty coffee market. If you’re a big fan of the roasty profile their Northwind Imperial Stout has to offer, you’ll definitely be a fan of the finely roasted coffee they’ll be ramping up production on. Owners, Jim and Jason Ebel have been brewing up great beer in the Chicagoland area since 1997 and, outside of opening up their restaurant in Aurora last year, this is their first major side project.
I’m sure the time they spent in France, which inspired them to return home and begin brewing, played a big role in their passion for coffee as well. We can only hope that the subtle nuances in their French-style country ale, “Domaine DuPage,” will be mirrored in their approach to coffee. So get out there and support your local brewer! You can pick up a package of Two Brothers coffee at either of their restaurants or you can head here to purchase it online.
