There's probably no aspect of shopping for a new home that's changed as much as buyers' reliance on images – photographs and video of the homes themselves, and satellite and aerial imagery of the home's environment. A recent Tribune article highlights the importance of quality photography in marketing a home.
This week Google has rolled out improvements to its high resolution satellite imagery and 45-degree aerial imagery. The changes are available in Google Earth and in Maps.
