The 3,700 square foot, 4-bedroom, 4 ½ bath home at 852 Woodland Dr doesn't lend itself to easy characterization. I'll settle for calling it a Shingle style home, but hold open the possibility of finding a more apt description.
The home was, surprisingly, built in the 1950s. It was "rebuilt and renovated" 10 years ago. According to the listing description, "an unexpected surprise awaits around every corner." The pictures that accompany the listing illustrate some of the surprises, including a variety of details from a long span of architectural history, and rooms that have dramatic ceiling lines dictated by the swooping lines of the home's roof.
The home just came on the market and is priced at $1,055,000. It's clearly distinctive enough that it can't be fairly evaluated without an extended walk-through.
