Michael Walsh blogs the Hemingway homes in Oak Park

There are surprisingly few real estate bloggers in Chicagoland - and even fewer who write consistently and informatively.

One of the small group of "always-worth-reading" blogs is appraiser Michael Walsh's Chicago Real Estate Blog. Last week Walsh wrote about writer Ernest Hemingway's three Oak Park homes: the one in which he was born, the one in which his family lived while their new home was being built, and the one in which he lived during his high school years.

If you follow market conditions in Chicago's western suburbs you'll want to subscribe to Walsh's blog for his frequent market updates. See, for example, his recent updates on River Forest and Downers Grove.
