When I first visited the home at 1418 Elmwood Ave in Wilmette and shot the above video, back in January of 2010, Coldwell Banker agent Linda Martin noted that it was "a lot of house" for the $1.047M price tag.
In January of this year, the home came to my attention as a new listing with a price tag of $849,000 – nearly $200K below the original listing price.
The home's owner has been transferred and the price has been reduced once again, to $700,000.
At $700K I think few would disagree that this recently renovated 5-bedroom, 4 ½ bath in a walk-to-train location in Wilmette is "a lot of house" for the money.
