Should North Shore home sellers sit out the holidays?

A question on the minds of many home sellers as Thanksgiving approaches is whether they should take their home off the market during the holiday season.

Coldwell Banker's Linda Martin, a 30-year veteran of North Shore sales, is advising her clients to keep their homes on the market. In addition to low interest rates, she sees reduced competition and active buyers as reasons to continue the sales effort through the holidays.

As if to reinforce the point, just before we went on camera for the above video we met a couple relocating from Texas at her open house.

The buyers were visiting 252 Myrtle in Winnetka, a 3,800 square foot home in East Winnetka with 4 full and 2 half baths priced at $1,800,000.
