My 2018 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees

Joe Cocker is one of the great singers of the late 60's-70's. "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" is one of the great live albums.
Yesterday, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced their class of 2018. The inductees will be the Cure, Def Leppard, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music and the Zombies.  I would normally take this space to argue why or why not they are deserving of the honor. Not today. I’m okay with results although... Read more »

My ten favorite items at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

First a few honorable mention items:
I love this pic of Darlene Love with Bruce Springsteen. They're probably singing Christmas songs.
It’s August. Just a few weeks left until the end of summer. Time for one more mini-vaca before school starts. So where should a couple go? CLEVELAND!!!!! Yeah…I know, I know BUT…. Old Days- A song that should be the theme for every reunion.
Thursday, the band Chicago was elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They’ve only been playing since 1967 so this honor was way overdue. My so called friends think it's time to edit this section. After four years, they may be right, but don't tell them that. I'll deny it until they die! I can't believe I've been writing this blog for four years. It started as a health/wellness thing and over the years has morphed to include so many things that I don't know how to describe it anymore. I really thought this was going to be the final year of the blog but then Donald Trump came along. It looks like we're good for four more years..God help us all! Oh yeah...the biographical stuff. I'm not 60 anymore. The rest you can read about in the blog.
