National School Walkout: It's the student's day
It’s Wednesday, 10 am in Chicago and the Central time zone. Students at hundreds of high schools are walking out of their classes. They’re spending seventeen minutes in silence. It’s their tribute to the seventeen students killed in Florida a month ago today. It’s the way they are protesting gun violence in America. My plan... Read more »

It's past time to get the guns

It's past time to get the guns
“The other piece of legislation is the crime bill. As of today, it no longer exists. I’m throwing it out. I’m throwing it out and writing a law that makes sense. You cannot address crime prevention without getting rid of assault weapons and hand guns. I consider them a threat to national security, and I... Read more »

Wayne LaPierre and the NRA cares more about money than our children
“What many people don’t understand, or don’t want to understand, is that Wayne, Chris and the folks who work so hard at the @NRA are Great People and Great American Patriots. They love our Country and will do the right thing. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”-Donald Trump Yesterday morning I turned on the news and caught... Read more »

My so called friends think it's time to edit this section. After four years, they may be right, but don't tell them that. I'll deny it until they die! I can't believe I've been writing this blog for four years. It started as a health/wellness thing and over the years has morphed to include so many things that I don't know how to describe it anymore. I really thought this was going to be the final year of the blog but then Donald Trump came along. It looks like we're good for four more years..God help us all! Oh yeah...the biographical stuff. I'm not 60 anymore. The rest you can read about in the blog.
