Israel has been doing some amazing work in researching and finding answers to medical questions. Their work in trying to find a cure to advanced Melanoma has saved countless lives. They've done it again in this surgical procedure that could make life better for people suffering from Parkinson's Disease.
The Israeli company Insightec has developed the procedure that cures the tremors that come with Parkinson's. It's noninvasive, using a computer and ultrasound waves. After an hour, the patient gets up and heads for home.
Why can't we develop procedures like this in the United States? Pharma money?
