A personal look at 2016: Goodbye and don't come back

It's the final day of 2016. That marks the end of the fourth calendar year of this blog. FOUR YEARS!!! Wow...is it like college where I get a piece of paper and have to leave?

I started writing this as a way to tell stories about my life with Parkinson's Disease. I figured there were enough chapters to write a book and this would be a good place to put them together. Turns out there are enough but I lost interest in doing that. I found other things I liked to talk about....to write about.

Two years ago, someone asked me to describe my blog. I said "It's about Parkinson's Disease, Nazi's and The Beatles."

In year three, I added the topics of Homelessness, Cancer and Death. Sheesh...no wonder I spent those first three years in therapy.

So what did year four bring? Donald Trump and The Rolling Stones! How did that happen? I never would have guessed that.

But instead of going on and on about them, how about I show some photos and videos about 2016 in Blogsville? They'll even be some of the Cubs. Oh Yeah....THE CUBS!!!!!

That's it for 2016. Have a happy and safe New Year. We'll see you...well tomorrow.

This was the finale for 2016. Here was the first one.

My so called friends think it's time to edit this section. After four years, they may be right, but don't tell them that. I'll deny it until they die! I can't believe I've been writing this blog for four years. It started as a health/wellness thing and over the years has morphed to include so many things that I don't know how to describe it anymore. I really thought this was going to be the final year of the blog but then Donald Trump came along. It looks like we're good for four more years..God help us all! Oh yeah...the biographical stuff. I'm not 60 anymore. The rest you can read about in the blog.
