Labor Day is the end of the Summer concert season

Happy Labor Day!

Most people consider Labor Day the end of summer. Oh man, is winter right around the corner?

It does signal the end of the Summer Concert Season. There are a couple more events but for the most part, concerts will move indoors.

It was a very busy Summer of music. While most of the acts were entertaining, there were a few good surprises and a couple of disappointments.

Here's a look at a musical Summer.

While the Summer was great, I'm looking forward to a couple of Fall shows. Beth Hart and St. Paul and The Broken Bones come to Chicago and I'm excited to see them both.

To get ready for the Fall, here's an old review of a concert by St. Paul and The Broken Bones.

My so called friends think it's time to edit this section. After four years, they may be right, but don't tell them that. I'll deny it until they die! I can't believe I've been writing this blog for four years. It started as a health/wellness thing and over the years has morphed to include so many things that I don't know how to describe it anymore. I really thought this was going to be the final year of the blog but then Donald Trump came along. It looks like we're good for four more years..God help us all! Oh yeah...the biographical stuff. I'm not 60 anymore. The rest you can read about in the blog.
