The Ten Best Beatles Cover Songs

Friday night, I went with my friend and fellow blogger, PlanetMichelle, to see a Steely Dan tribute band called Deacon Blues. I've never been much on cover or tribute bands. The originals are almost always the best. But......

If you're a baby boomer and a fan of the music of the 60's-70's, a lot of the performers of that era are gone. John, George, Jimi, Janis, etc...the only way you're going to hear that music is from someone covering it.

There are hundreds of versions of Beatles songs covered by other name performers. These are the best ones.

If you have your favorites, let me know.

Here's the story of how Jimi Hendrix did the live cover of Sgt. Peppers.

My so called friends think it's time to edit this section. After four years, they may be right, but don't tell them that. I'll deny it until they die! I can't believe I've been writing this blog for four years. It started as a health/wellness thing and over the years has morphed to include so many things that I don't know how to describe it anymore. I really thought this was going to be the final year of the blog but then Donald Trump came along. It looks like we're good for four more years..God help us all! Oh yeah...the biographical stuff. I'm not 60 anymore. The rest you can read about in the blog.
