Last week it was announced that former President Jimmy Carter has Cancer. It turns out he has Melanoma.
I haven't written about Melanoma lately mostly because since my surgery, everything has gone well. My appointments with my Dermatologist have been uneventful. That's a good thing. I've been keeping out of the sun, doing the body checks...all the stuff you should be doing. So far all good. But you need to be aware that once you have Melanoma, you are much more likely to have it return. YOU NEED TO KEEP ON TOP OF THIS!!!!
The Carter announcement had me wondering how many celebs had skin cancer or Melanoma? The list includes politicians, entertainers and athletes. One good thing is the lack of baseball players and golfers. Apparently they know how to protect themselves from the dangers of the Sun.
Here's a gallery of celebs with Melanoma/Skin Cancer.
I love doing photo galleries. They are fun to work on and you can get a lot of information across in a picture or a video. This is the first in a week long series of Galleries. A few will be serious like this one and tomorrows on Suicide. I promise it'll lighten up after that! Here's another Gallery I did for the end of Melanoma Awareness Month.
