One of my major problems with Parkinson's is I get very tired at some point during the day. Some days are better than others. It really messes up making plans.
Yesterday, I had a big day planned...well at least in my head it was going to be a big day. A birthday party for a one year old, followed by seeing the traveling exhibit of the National Holocaust Museum, followed by the final night of Blues Fest.
Birthday party- check. Here's where we took a turn for the worst.
Started out for the museum exhibit, had one of my daughters with me. Got about halfway there, couldn't do it!! No problem for her. She just went and did something else. I headed home to lie down. The walk from the train took about twice as long as usual. Finally made it home and the nap which is usually an hour became three.
I got up and it was time for some Blues. Couldn't do it!!
I guess I now know better than to plan three consecutive events. It probably didn't help that I was out until 1am the night before.
So now I'm trying to figure out if it's P.D., if it's being 60, or if I'm just a lightweight....or maybe all three.
I'm learning more each day!!
