Happy topic: Baby hats!

My daughter inherited a few things from my side: her uncle's toenails and my mother's ability to wear hats.

Some people just have good heads. I'm convinced that whole phase in the 90's where everyone had the same haircut was because Jennifer Aniston has a good noggin. I mean look at it - high at the crown, minimal forehead. And my baby's head? Perfection. So we buy her hats and plenty of 'em.
Just yesterday our friend Joanna knitted up a springy yellow half-hat. Ain't it a dandy?

  • Adorable and very nice head. :) I remember my kids had a knitted blue hat with a green stem that made them look like a blueberry. They also wore those Gap denim hats that were popular way back.

  • The turkey one is awesome! This entry is featured on today's "Hot on ChicagoNow:"

Thanks! I loves me some baby hats. And shoes. And pants.

I must admit Bianca is the envy at playgroup. That child is always dressed so cute and unique for that matter.

So funny . . . I posted a picture of that very same turkey hat on my blog about a year and a half ago. It still only lives in my knitting dreams. By the time I get around to it, my ten year-old baby is going to look kind if silly in it.

Lol! I guess a more topical hat would have been a "spring chicken" but it's so stinkin' cute!

So cute!! She does look awesome in hats. She's pretty cute without hats too :)
