Who I'll Be Seeing This Weekend @ Lollapalooza 2011 in Grant Park

This weekend Lollapalooza makes it's 6th return to the lakefront of Chicago and it brings close to a 100 acts and 95,000 people per day (approxmiately 275,000 total over three days).

Now I've already been critical of this lineup back when it was announced...but hey, I'm going for free and no one can really complain going to a three day festival for free!

As one of my Best Men (from my upcoming wedding) and one of my oldest friends from when I moved out to the "burbs" from the city will say..."It's not so much about the music as it is the experience".

I agree with him wholeheartedly as I'd probably still want to check it out even if Garth Brooks or Dolly Parton were performing (no offense to either of them or their fans, but not my cup of tea).  Heck, I still remember seeing Radiohead & Rage Against The Machine a few years back perform in Grant Park with the Museum of Science and Industry in the background...holy crap was that weekend AMAZING!

I've created a gallery of my top acts (in chronological order of performance) that I'll be checking out at this years Lollapalooza starting tomorrow, August 5th,  and running until Sunday, August 7th.

Maybe I'll see some of you on the baseball diamonds and fields of Grant Park this weekend!
