Fall TV Preview - FOX

ALMOST HUMAN (premieres November 4): This show has a lot of buzzwords I like (Karl Urban, Mackenzie Crook, Michael Ealy, Lily Taylor, J.J. Abrams ), and a couple of buzzwords I don't like (procedural, Minka Kelly). <br><br>I watched the preview, and it looks like quite the ride. I see why FOX is saving it for November sweeps. If the show allows itself to get out of crime/freak-of-the-week procedural mode and start to develop some real mythology (a la Fringe) this show has a chance. Otherwise it's just NCIS:LA set in 2048.
I love fall. And a big part of the reason I love fall is because I love a fresh, spanking new TV season (suck on that, pumpkin lattes). For the past few years, John and I have shouldered the burden of watching every single pilot for every single new show as it airs and then... Read more »
