I definitely think there is a difference between "favorite" and "best." I have a lot of favorites. "Favorite" to me means the show you can quote verbatim because you've seen it so many times. It's the show you planned your day around when it was in syndication. It's comfort food. It's your desert island show.
And I think--ah! this one is so tough!--I'm going to go with, and I know it's not an edgy choice or a surprising one, but it's the show that I think helped me hone my sparkling sense of humor, and when I had two random episodes on tape I watched them a million times each and memorized them and you really can't deny loving something when Julia Louis-Dreyfus is involved. That show is Seinfeld.
(And the two episodes I had on tape were "The Alternate Side" and "The Raincoats.")
I wrote a book! It's YA novel, THE SOUND OF US. You can find the details right here! Kirkus calls it "a winning story about a teenage voice student that hits all the right notes."
I also wrote another book (You've Got Mail in the Pokemon Go era), which comes out in a month. You can add it on Goodreads!
