When you're a movie freak like me, you go see everything. Even if you know it's going to be bad. Well, okay - maybe not EVERYTHING. There are some I skipped based on past experience, like Mother's Day (Garry Marshall-directed star-studded holiday romcoms are never good) and Assassin's Creed (videogame adaptation - ditto). And, as good as movies were this year, there was no shortage of uninspired duds, embarrassing misfires, and ill-conceived sequels.
Because good people worked hard on these movies, I hate to call them out as the worst. Let's just say these were the least successfully executed or Bottom 10 Movies of 2016:
