American Idol Recap: Showcase #4, Judges Vote

Duets!

Amelia Eisenhauer and Kellie Pickler, "Suds in the Bucket" by Sarah Evans: Kellie doesn't know why she's here. Neither do we, Kellie. Neither do we. Amelia was good on the fiddle. And her voice is much better than Pickler's.

Haley Reinhart and Cory Wheeler, "Bennie and the Jets" by Elton John: A fun, cute performance. I'll allow it.

Daughtry! and Lee Jean, "Some Song by Daughtry!": I really like Lee Jean. Daughtry! is fine-ish.

David Cook and CJ Johnson, "The World I Know" by Collective Soul: I don't know why I like CJ, but I do. I know he's going to disappoint me verily when the Idol makeover artists get a hold of him.

Jordin Sparks and Manny Torres, "No Air" by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown: This was fine.

Constantine Maroulis and Jenn Blosil, "My Funny Valentine": This felt a little "airport lounge" to me. Cheesy as hell, but I dug it.

Kellie Pickler and Tristan McIntosh, "Some Kellie Pickler Joint": Pickler's voice still grates. But she makes Tristan look good, so.

David Cook and Olivia Rox, "Light On" by David Cook: David is right on about Olivia. She's got a stacked toolbox, but she needs to figure out when to use which tool.

Haley Reinhart and Adam Lasher, "Can't Help Falling In Love" by Elvis: This was really pretty. Haley's voice is so great. And I like Adam, I must say.

Daughtry! and Dalton Rapattoni, "Higher Ground" by Stevie Wonder: Rocky rock.

Jordin Sparks and Trent Whatever, "To Love Somebody" by the BeeGees: Pretty good. He makes crazy faces, but I'm okay with it.

Constantine Maroulis and Shelbie Z, "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen: Constantine's smoldering eyes, my god. Stop it, sir.

See you next week: Lee, Olivia, Jenn, Dalton, Manny, Tristan, Trent
