I suppose there's still time to oust one or two of these...Ha ha ha.
Maybe this is a bit of a navel-gazer, but so what. It's a blog. Navel gazing is kind of blogging's thing.
As important as it is to look forward, it's also fun (and informative) to look back on the past year, relive the things you were proud of and learn from the things that make you all cringy and have you reaching for the egg nog. That's what I'm doing with this here blog post.
Things I've learned: Maybe people don't want to read (my?) TV recaps anymore. Maybe there are just too many out there. Maybe I should stick to ranting about '90s celebrities and assholes in big box stores. Maybe I've just been off my game this year and things will be better in 2015. Maybe the TV stuff is tough because I just don't watch that much TV anymore, at least not as much as other people do. Maybe I need to switch things up, be less careful, I don't know. I've been doing this blogging thing for -- holy shit -- nine years this January. It's hard to stay fresh. It's hard not to repeat yourself. It's hard not to get burnt out.
But I'm trying. I really am. And that's why we're launching...
Hammervision 2015: Now all movie reviews and complaints about your fellow man.
