Okay, so maybe Ron Howard's Rush isn't lighting up the domestic box office. (No, that would be Gravity.) It is a fine movie though, and worth checking out (click here for my review). More importantly, it serves as the latest example of a movie bromance worth swooning over. The movie may highlight the racing rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauda, and the various women who come and go in their lives, but, at its heart, it's a story about two men who need, and bring out the best in, each other.
The "bromance," though a relatively new term, has been around for decades now. There are tons of movies that feature bromances, and no shortage of posts floating around the Internet that list these films. Name any action comedy from the past two decades and you can probably craft a solid list of movie bromances. This is not that kind of post.
I'm going to try to take it one step further. Given all the movie bromances we've seen, what are the most bromantic moments? Here are my picks. Read on, and then chime in with your picks in the comments section below.
