Best Rock and Roll Songs for Kids

My kids have had me listening to the soundtrack to The Muppets for the weeks or so (at least that's how it feels). They've especially taken a shine to "We Built This City" by Jefferson Starship. Of course they have. My daughter has picked up on the whole "Rock and Roll" thing and now she only wants to listen to songs that she (in all her 2-year-old wisdom) deems to be "rock" and/or "roll." She completely pooh-poohed "Here Comes the Hotstepper" when it popped up on i101 the other day (go figure), but she liked "Glory Days" by Bruce Springsteen. (OK, maybe the girl has better taste in music than her mother. Let's just say it. I know we're all thinking it.)

Now I want to make a playlist (or, because I'm old, a CD) of rock and roll (and, sure, pop) songs for my kids that won't make me want to fill up my ear canals with motor oil.

I asked the Hammervision crowd over on Facebook for their favorite kid-friendly rock and roll songs, and now I'm asking you -- what are the best rock and roll songs for kids?

For your aural enjoyment, I've compiled a gallery of some of the Hammervision choices (and some of my own). I regrettably omitted a few solid choices (like "Scatman" or another of my kids' favorites, "Technologic" by Daft Punk) for not being quite rock and roll enough. (Also, my daughter is a big fan of "girl songs," so your lady rock choices would be greatly appreciated.)
