So Chicago Thinks It Can Dance

Very disappointingly, the Chicago edition of So You Think You Can Dance featured fewer dancers than the LA auditions.  What's wrong with us?  Our American Idol episode sucked as well (though the eventual winner and runner-up did end up coming from this sadly lackluster audition city).

But so what?  Who cares?  We're tough, we don't back down, and we like to play the Bulls starting lineup music at all hours of the day.
And one of our suburbanites (a gal from Tinley Park) introduced us all to the latest dance craze: Hick-Hop!
Here were the standouts of the Chicago auditions.

  • Kent was fantastic. Arguably better than Billy Bell when we last saw I'm guessing he'll make it far.

Aside from that...can you wake me up with Neil makes an appearance?! :)

  • In reply to RunningJayhawk:

Kent was way too cute for his own good. I couldn't believe they made him go through choreography. Blasphemy!

    Oh, Neil!

  • In reply to RunningJayhawk:

I have to admit, I was way more relaxed with Mary Murphy absent. Her unpredictible bouts of yelling/crying make me nervous. I lived in constant fear of the Hot Tamale Train.

  • In reply to Ashby:

Please. You know it's your lifelong dream to ride cross country aboard the Mary Murphy Hot Tamale Train.

I will miss Mary on The Soup this season (It's the little things in life). Hopefully Mia can bring the crazy in her stead.
