YOU’RE NOT IN KANSAS ANY MORE!
Arizona is sure as hell not Kansas; it’s not even like Illinois. In this state the nut cases rule. Here are but a few examples:
Even though a referendum clearly passed, the state legislature refused to fund the educational system. Recently they were taken to court where the court ordered the legislature to immediately fund the schools with the monies collected to do so.
You got that?
The conservative governor Jan Brewer, no great brain here, understands dollars and cents. She saw that Arizona would be getting far more back then they contributed from the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare), so she opted in, thus saving the state millions of dollars that would have to be spent on medical care. Makes good sense, not that Utah or Missouri (states with similar situations) would act so positively.
Yet, Brewer, in her infinite wisdom, refused to criticize or comment negatively on the wacko state senator who compared the President to Hitler, Brewer said it may have been a little over the top, but the senator had some good points.
“Other than that, did you enjoy the theater Mrs. Lincoln?”
People south of the Gila River (really a dry bed that on occasion actually has water in it) want to secede from the conservative north. Nutty liberals acting like Tea Party jerks!
If you like to see your highways covered with blown out tires, than Arizona is just the place for you. Traveling between Phoenix and Tucson, the interstate is littered with tire fragments. They are absolutely everywhere.
Couple that with sudden dust storms and drivers who do not signal, and you’ve got an adventure when you travel.
True story about how bad Arizona drivers can truly be. Last week at the major intersection of Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard, a driver killed two horses. Horses!
HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE A HORSE IN THE ROAD?
At least here is Arizona we can actually see the elderly drivers behind the wheel unlike those in Florida. Like those in Florida, they too travel at 25 miles per hour in the left lane, with a right turn signal on forever. However, many here as well frequent Olive Garden and Red Lobster around 4 in the afternoon just like Florida.
