Weight loss story: Gwyn on Sports Doctor Radio

Weight loss story: Gwyn on Sports Doctor Radio
feeling awesome!

Weight Loss Story

On March 21, 2013, I was able to tell my weight loss story on Dr. Robert Weil's radio show called the Sports Doctor Radio.  I met him at a Chicago Now event and found out he had a radio show.  He wanted to interview me about my weight loss story and I accepted.

This experience was such a highlight in my week.  I was able to talk about my weight loss story from when I first started in December 31, 2011.  I also talked about where I use to be before my weight loss story began.  I discuss what I do for working out and my goal to run the 5K.

I share some traumatic experiences I went through in the past that caused my weight gain.  I discuss my blog and how I want to help others.  I really enjoy having my facebook page too cause I get add quick ideas through out the week that someone can be inspired with.

Having these opportunities really helps me to stay motivated and wanting to continue on this healthy lifestyle.  I feel if I can help one more person on their own journey than it's one more person that's healthy too.  I would love to have the opportunity to talk to crowds about my journey also.

Take the time to check out Dr. Weil's other radio show audio.  His show can be listened online at http://www.wdcb.org/ on Thursdays at 6:30 pm central time.  I noticed that the radio station has a Health Show on Wednesday nights.  I may have to check that out.

Here is my weight loss story on the Sports Doctor Radio Show that starts in the beginning of the show for 10 minutes: http://sportsdoctorradio.com/2013/march21.mp3
