Lamp Made Entirely Out Of Recycled Whisks

Natalie Sampson, currently a student at the University for Creative Arts, has created the Wire Whisk Lamp.  This lamp, one of her new series, is inspiring to us eco-friendly geeks.  She claims that the Wire Whisk Lamp is one of her first attempts at taking everyday objects and recycling them into something new and useful.

While Natalie may not be building solar panel bridges or electric airplanes, she's helping the earth in a legitimate way.  Her lamp, made entirely out of recycled whisks, is comprised of 320 whisks!  That's a whole lot of metal that wasn't dumped into the trash.  Those whisks deserved better than to beat raw eggs all day, be drowned in a sink and eventually thrown into a landfill.  They now have a better life.  Thanks, Natalie!
