I live on the South Side of Chicago with my husband and two daughters. When my oldest child was born, I decided to give up my accounting career and become a stay at home Mom. My children attend public school and I am a product of CPS. I have a passion for parenting and education. I was on the design team for a public high school here in Chicago. I am so excited to be blogging for ChicagoNow!
I am a very opinionated person, so blogging is right up my alley. I’m not afraid to say what other people are thinking but would never say. I started my blog in September 2011. Some of my blogs are controversial because everyone has different parenting styles. I believe in “Old School” parenting. My children are not my friends and I expect them to fear me. I’m not a “Tiger Mom” but I understand her methods.
