I am super excited for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which hits theaters this Friday, Dec. 14. But while I would love to rewatch the Lord of the Rings trilogy beforehand, that would take more free time than I really have this week.
So, I found the next best thing. Some awesome person put together all the cutscenes from the LEGO Lord of the Rings video game. At an hour and a half, it's the length of a feature film – and it does a surprisingly good job of telling the story in sitting. (Yes, I watched the entire thing last night. So much for going to the gym after work.)
For Lord of the Rings geeks like me, it's a must watch. If you have some free time before now and The Hobbit, I'd suggest you give it a view.
