Lego Harry Potter: Five other movies that need Lego video games

My brother bought me Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 for my Wii for Christmas and I finally got around to playing it the other day. I love Legos. I love Harry Potter. I love video games. Win. Win. Win.

All of the Lego video games based on movies that I've played so far – the two Harry Potter games and the Star Wars games – are fairly entertaining. There also are Lego video games featuring Indiana Jones, Batman, and The Pirates of the Caribbean.

This got me thinking, though, about other movies that would make great Lego video games. The following are the five movies I would like to see be turned into Lego video games:

5. PRINCE OF PERSIA

Why it would make a great Lego video game: There's already Lego sets. And they've already spent the money to make commercials for them. Might as well take the next step and make a video game. The movie – which I enjoyed more than most – is filled with action that would translate well to a Lego video game. And who doesn't want to play a game as Jake Gyllenhaal Lego character. Nobody. That's who.

4. THE MATRIX

Why it would make a great Lego video game: The best part of the Lego video games is how they slyly make fun of the movies during the games. A "Matrix" Lego video game would have a field day with his. The play with the first movie might be a little slow-paced to begin with, but the action at the end would make up for it. As for the other two movies, I've blocked them out of my mind.

3. WILLOW

Why it would make a great Lego video game: One of the greatest fantasy movies of all time would make an awesome Lego video game. What's better than Jake Gyllenhaal Lego character? Why, a Val Kilmer Lego character, of course.

2. JAMES BOND

Why it would make a great Lego video game: James Bond in Lego form. This was meant to be. You would have tons of cool gadgets, Legoized. Plenty of action. And you could pick the Lego James Bond you want to play as. Of course, the only good choice is Sean Connery.

1. LORD OF THE RINGS

Why it would make a great Lego video game: Without a doubt, this would be the greatest Lego video game ever. The toys are coming out in summer 2012. A video game can't be far behind, right? Right? We can only hope.
