I can't believe we're only a few weeks away from Christmas again! The holiday season always flies by so fast that our family rarely gets an opportunity to enjoy the many festive attractions the city has to offer. Each year, I make a promise to myself that we'll go to Winter Wonderfest, catch the Holiday CTA Train or perhaps stop by Christkindlmarket in Daley Plaza. Last year, we checked out the ZooLights at Lincoln Park Zoo for the first time, but didn't make the others.
Now, thanks Portable North Pole, there's a new experience in town that's totally worth a trip to WaterTower Place, especially if you have more shopping to do. The Virtual Santa Sleigh Ride debuted this year in Chicago offering a magically good time for kids and adults alike. We were invited to check it out this past weekend and it was pretty cool! The experience consists of a quick virtual ride to the North Pole where you'll drive the sleigh, followed by a meet & greet and photos with Santa. The best part is that you get a pretty awesome animated video of your experience to share with friends and family. Check ours out here. The basic package comes with a few prints and digital images and there's also a premium option if you want more holiday pics to hand out.
You too can help Santa get his sleigh ready for the big night by heading to the 7th floor at WaterTower Place. The sleigh ride is a pretty quick experience, leaving ample time to shop or grab a bite to eat. Walk-ups are more than welcome, however you can also reserve a spot online at https://www.celebrateyourholiday.com/Reservations. The last day is December 24, so plan your visit today!
