A Great Weekend to be Gluten Free in Chicago

If you had to pick a weekend to embark on your gluten free diet, this would be it. You can sample some of the latest and greatest gluten and allergen free foods on the market at the Gluten and Allergen Free Expo Saturday, April 14th and Sunday, April 15th at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center. From those newly diagnosed as gluten intolerant to savvy celiacs, there are valuable cooking tips, tasty recipes, and new products to help you live a better gluten free life featured at the Expo. My daughter and I took full advantage of the word "free" in gluten free at last year's Expo, leaving with a brown bag chock full of loot from our gluten free adventure. You can check out my highlights from last year's Expo to see some of the vendors and new products featured.  Presented by Living Without magazine, vendors at this year's Expo include Udi's, Schar,Rudi's, Bob's Red Mill, San-J, Pamela's, Glutino, and many more.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children and can be purchased online or at the door. So, stop by Expo this weekend, learn some new tips & tricks, try some of the tasty giveaways,  and then post a comment afterward to let me know what was your favorite product featured at the Expo.

I've been gluten and dairy free since 2008 and hope to share recipes and resources I've discovered for living with celiac.
