Need Help with your Branding? Check out NAPW Midwest Conference

Mark your calendars for an insightful, worthwhile event for women.  On Friday, November 18 the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) will be holding its first regional conference in Naperville. NAPW, a women’s networking organization founded in New York in 2009, will be hosting its first Midwest conference. It is totally “green” platform with the event being held on the eco-friendly Hotel Arista.  This conference is being organized by Kelly Event Services International, a “green” organization supporting NAPW’s commitment to being “green”.

NAPW Midwest conference will focus on the power of social networking and social media in developing business relationships.  Lead by sales and marketing industry trend setters and innovators, it will teach attendees how to rebrand themselves, refocus their energy and begin thinking of themselves as the power point in their daily transactions.  Attendees will learn how to leverage their own power to connect via social outlets such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn and learn how to develop these new connections into valuable business contacts.

This innovative one day conference will empower attendees to take control of their business relationships, refocus and leverage their expertise to maximize impact on potential clients and partners. Speakers include, Sima Dahl from Parlay Communications, Gail Sussman Miller from Inspired Choice, Leslee Serdar - “The Cold Calling Diva,” and Mary Erlain and Alexandra Glumac from LMI Riverside. They will offer their expertise on topics such as social networking, creating lasting business relationships, women in leadership roles and improving business communication. This is useful information we all need!

The conference is open to all professional women, with deep discounts extended to current or new NAPW members. Thursday and Friday night accommodations are available at this “eco-chic” hotel for an additional fee. Conference registration includes a pre-conference Yoga Basic and Beyond workshop taught by Yoga4Life, donated items from Aveda, Crescendo Apparel, Stella & Dot, J. Hillburn, Jewelmint.com and others, plus entrance to the Vendor Fair Luncheon and Speed Networking sessions.

Attendees will have an opportunity to win raffle prizes to benefit their businesses, including a FD100 IT terminal programmed with Trans Armour and 100 blank gift cards (value $400) donated by FDIS-Windy City and consulting services donated by PNCBank, Beacon Financial and professional image consultant, Jennifer Burton.  NAPW will be donating 5% of all registration fees to the YWCA Great Lakes in support of the 1,000 programs which benefit women and children in Northern Illinois and beyond.
