Lebron and Miami Heat succeed in South Beach

This is storybook. Miami is elated. Cleveland and OKC: dejected. Once upon a time Cavaliers' star player, Lebron James, says goodbye, and the King wins a ring and a championship within 24 months. Lebron captures the elusive NBA title and the new bad boys of the NBA have triumphed over Oklahoma City. Congrats to The Heat.

I am proud of Lebron James. He not only improved as a team player in some critical aspects of the game, he also humbled himself, realizing that teams win rings, not individuals. Lebron's interviewing skills improved as well. His analysis and articulation of game details were far more understandable than his angry Cleveland rants of gibberish.

James can settle in and feel the success of being #1. The naysayers have no concrete to stand on anymore. But with this knowledge, Lebron will have the whole league trying to dethrone him next year. Wade, Bosh, Miller, Chalmers, Cole, and the cast will have to turn up their game because the Bulls will be back to mangle the Heat. Pray for D. Rose.

Lebron - love the moment - it won't last long man.

  • I think everyone in Cleveland knew LBJ was eventually going to win one in Miami. The question now is how many. I say at least 4. If they can get an actual center it may be more.
