WOW - a PBS television show came to my front lawn. How cool is that? Joe Lamp'l and his amazing crew came to my front lawn vegetable garden and filmed the
Growing A Greener World television show this garden season. Episode
126 focused on growing your own food and educating people on how healthy and good for the community it is to do so. This is the very final episode of the 2010 Growing A Greener World season and I am proud to announce that it was filmed in my
front yard garden (you can see the cameraman in the photo above).
You can watch the special episode, which addresses the New Victory Garden, at this link - http://www.growingagreenerworld.com/episode126. My garden feature begins at around 14:10, however, the whole episode is happily
filled with great ideas and amazing people building community and
personal health with a victory garden.
Thank you Joe and all your crew for the hard work - I enjoy the
experience thoroughly and hope they come back next year!
