TOAD COTTAGES & SHOOTING STARS By Sharon Lovejoy (Workman

the time of their lives". It is a book which gives 130 green and incredibly fun
grandchild-friendly activities like building firefly lanterns, a pizza box solar
oven, and even guiding the reader on nighttime adventures. As soon as I received
this book, I gave it to my daughter and her grandma to explore. There are tons
of activities for them, and they really enjoyed trying a lot of them out - a definite add to our family list of green activities that are good for you.

THE LOOKING BOOK By P.K. Hallinan, Illustrated by Patrice Barton
(Ideals Childrens

Book Review Looking Book.jpg

Books; $16.95), is a book for young children which really
focuses on getting them outside in nature to better "see" the world up close. It
is a great picture book with delightful illustrations and a real focus of
helping elementary aged children understand why it is so important to get
outside and spend less time on television. Educating children on memorable basic ideas of greening and sustainability always starts at home, and this book gives your child a head start.
