Get to know an entire neighborhood and score some deals this
Saturday at the Lakewood - Balmoral Front Yard Sale. It's on from 9 to
4 under sunny skies and 75 perfect degrees forecasted for the day.
The 12 blocks of bargains are bounded from 5200 to 5500 Magnolia,
Lakewood to Wayne.
The sale has been going on for over 30 years, with most of the
neighbors in this historic neighborhood participating. It has a carnival feel
with food and drink stands up and down the blocks, one resident, Kathy,
said. The sale is organized every year for the Saturday after Labor
Day.
Woof. Of course this is what theater folk will be selling. The lobster,
not the dog, along with a framed pencil portrait of Kurt Cobain.
The New Suit Theatre Company
will be there, offering 20 people's worth of stuff at 5234 N. Wayne
(marked with a red star on the map). Here's a few of their wares from
the normal department.
